Description

Introduction:

The opening and closing part of the stop valve is a plug-shaped valve disc, and the sealing surface is flat or conical. The valve disc moves linearly along the center line of the valve seat. The movement form of the valve stem, there is also a lifting and rotating rod type, which can be used to control the flow of various types of fluids such as air, water, steam, various corrosive media, mud, oil, liquid metal and radioactive media. Therefore, this type of shut-off valve is very suitable for shutting off or regulating and throttling. Because the opening or closing stroke of the valve stem of this type of valve is relatively short, and it has a very reliable shut-off function, and because the change of the valve seat port is in direct proportion to the stroke of the valve disc, it is very suitable for flow adjustment.

Working Principle:

The working principle and characteristics of the globe valve

The valve plays an important role in cutting off and throttling the medium in the pipeline. As an extremely important cut-off valve, the shut-off valve is sealed by applying torque to the valve stem, and the valve stem is in the axial direction. The valve clack applies pressure to make the sealing surface of the valve clack closely fit the sealing surface of the valve seat, and prevent the medium from leaking along the gap between the sealing surfaces.

The sealing pair of the globe valve is composed of a valve flap sealing surface and a valve seat sealing surface, and the valve stem drives the valve flap to move vertically along the center line of the valve seat. During the opening and closing process of the globe valve, the opening height is small, the flow is easy to adjust, and the manufacturing and maintenance are convenient, and the pressure application range is wide.

Advantage:

1.The structure of the stop valve is simpler than that of the gate valve, and the manufacture and maintenance are more convenient.

2.The sealing surface is not easy to wear and scratch, and the sealing performance is good. There is no relative sliding between the valve clack and the valve body sealing surface when opening and closing, so the wear and scratches are not serious, the sealing performance is good, and the service life is long.

3.When opening and closing, the disc stroke is small, so the height of the stop valve is smaller than that of the gate valve, but the structure length is longer than that of the gate valve.

4. Since the change of the valve seat port is proportional to the stroke of the valve disc, it is very suitable for flow adjustment, and it is easy to manufacture and maintain, and has a wide range of pressure applications.


Installation&Maintenance:

The installation and maintenance of the globe valve should pay attention to the following items:

1. The stop valve operated by hand wheel and handle can be installed at any position of the pipeline.

2. Handwheels, handles and micro-movement mechanisms are not allowed for lifting.

3. The flow direction of the medium should be consistent with the arrow direction shown on the valve body.
